Thoughts on Rails 3.0.0.beta3

Just recently updated from Rails 2.3.5 to Rails 3.0.0.beta3 and man was it a trip! Took me at least a week with at least 6 uninstalls and installations of Rails to get to where I am now. But in my opinion, it was totally worth it. So far, Rails 3 is much easier and I am understanding a lot more. One of my favorite things that the Rails developers added are the shortcuts to different commands (eg. g for generate, s for server). Can't wait for the full release.

Exodus by Leon Uris

I have been really interested in world religions and decided that I should read an old classic Exodus by Leon Uris. The story is based in Cyprus where a group known as the Mossad Le'aliyah Bet try and smuggle 3 hundred Jews out of a detention camp and lead them to their holy land of Palestine. So far, a wonderful book.
